Ecosystem Regeneration
Building a path to a sustainable and secure future for all life.
We collaborate with partners all over the world to revive devastated ecosystems and bring security and prosperity to all life. Nature has the blueprint; together we can restore her tools.

Restoring our planet is not just about nature; it’s about our future.
Ecosystem regeneration is about more than restoring individual areas—it’s about safeguarding entire regions. For humanity to survive and thrive, our planet’s natural systems must function as a whole.
This means restoring critical processes like the water cycle and vegetation, which are directly linked to climate stability and food security. Our mission is to inspire hope and demonstrate that we can confront the climate crisis through large-scale regeneration. These solutions are vital for creating a sustainable future, and we aim to inspire everyone to be part of this transformative journey.
Since 2017, we’ve proven that regenerating degraded landscapes is not only possible but can be achieved quickly and efficiently. From the Henriette Waard in Den Bosch to the Sinai Desert in Egypt, our work has shown the impact of large-scale regeneration.

We all benefit from regenerating Ecosystems.
Restoring the planet isn’t just the responsibility of governments or large organizations—small changes in how we treat the land can make a big difference. Whether it’s supporting tree-planting initiatives, reducing deforestation, or learning more about regenerative practices, everyone has a role to play.
When we work in harmony with nature, we can thrive in abundance. With dedication, restoration is not only possible, but it’s already happening. And the impact is real.
Our regeneration programs operate globally, with a key focus on the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt. Here, we pioneer water cycle restoration techniques that prioritize community-driven results. To scale these efforts, we utilize media, data, technology, and communications for research and implementation.
By partnering with local and global collaborators, we regenerate targeted areas quickly and sustainably. This approach improves local livelihoods, enhances biodiversity, and helps combat the climate crisis. Our programs also act as innovation hubs, testing and refining new ideas to maximize impact.

In a world where nothing is wasted, everything has value.
We're seeing real, measurable impacts: millions of gallons of water purified, energy savings reaching up to 74%, and ecosystems revived from the brink of collapse. This goes beyond merely reversing pollution; it’s about breathing life back into areas once considered lost.
"Nature can heal itself, but it needs our help," a researcher points out. With our support, we’re not just saving individual ecosystems—we’re safeguarding the future of our planet.
Our next step is to share this knowledge on a global scale. Through the power of storytelling, we aim to inspire, educate, and empower individuals, governments, and organizations to restore their ecosystems using proven techniques and on-site support. With rapid advancements in AI and technology, we can now extend our efforts to communities across the Mediterranean and beyond, accelerating global regeneration.

Spreading the word: What Ecosystem Regeneration looks like.
With projections of up to 1.2 billion climate refugees by 2050, the time to act is now. The Weather Makers Foundation’s mission must be heard, seen, and felt everywhere—on the big screen, Netflix, social media, and in daily conversations.
Our goal is to ignite hope and offer practical ways for people to get involved, engaging their hearts, minds, and actions. Through powerful storytelling campaigns, we spotlight large-scale regeneration efforts, inspire collective action, unite communities, and empower the growing "Regeneration Generation" to join the fight for a sustainable future.
